Justice Breyer to instruct at Harvard Law Faculty following leaving SCOTUS bench

Retired Justice Stephen Breyer is to join Harvard Regulation Faculty after leaving the Supreme Court bench. 

Harvard claimed Friday that Breyer, who retired from the Supreme Court on June 30, is re-signing up for its law college faculty. Breyer is a graduate of the legislation college and very first joined the Harvard faculty in 1967. In announcing his retirement, Breyer experienced cited provisions of 28 U.S.C. § 371(b). Breyer has not said what else he may do in retirement. A 1937 legislation permits retired Supreme Courtroom justices to carry on to hear and determine cases on lower federal courts, a exercise termed “sitting down by designation.”
